”すみません、ゴッホミュージアムの隣にある現代美術館の場所を教えてもらえませんか？”

"Sure, you go straight and turn left at big crossing. but did you know the contemporary art museum is temporary closed for their renovation?"
”いいですよ、まっすぐ行って大きな交差点を左です。でも今改装中で一時的に閉まってるのは知ってますか？”

"Yes? hmmm then i go to Van gogh Museum."
”ほんとですか？だったらゴッホミュージアムに行こうかな”

"Then it's on my way so let's walk together till there."
”だったら僕もそっちに行くからそこまで一緒に行きましょう”

"Where are you from?"
”何処から来たんですか？”

"I am originally from Japan but now I live in Berlin Germany"
”元々は日本なんですけど、今ドイツのベルリンに住んでます”

"Then you have many nice museums"
”だったら沢山美術館がありますね”

"Yes, and also many nice galleries, so it's very exciting especially this year because of Berlin Biennale"
”そうなんです。それに沢山ギャラリーもあります。特に今年はビエナーレですごく刺激的です”

"What do you do? are you a student? or do you work?"
”何をしてるんですか？学生？それとも働いてるの？”

"I work as a freelancer. I do designs like shoes, apparel, and also shop windows for a brand called Asics. and their European headquater is located in Hoofddorp so i come to Amsterdam quite often. what do you do?"
”フリーランサーとして働いてます。靴とか服とか店のウィンドウデコレーションとかをアシックスと言う会社と一緒に作ってます。その会社はオランダにあるのでアムステルダムには結構頻繁に来るんです。で、あなたは何をしてるんですか？”

"i also design. i design Gardens"
”僕もデザインをしています。でも庭のデザインです”

"For private? or for the city?"
”それはプライベートな庭ですか？それとも公共の公園とか？”

"I do Both"
”どっちもやります”

"That's nice! so your size of the projects are from 20 square meters till 2000 square meters!"
”すごい。ってことはプロジェクトのサイズは２０平米から２０００平米って感じですね”

"That's right. i do sometime jewelry design too. i designed silver ring with moss. that's the smallest garden i have made"
”その通り。それからたまにジュエリーデザインもします。シルバーの指輪にこけをうめたのが僕が作った一番小さい庭です”

"HA!!! that's really interesting. so you have to give water all the time?"
”まじですか？それはすごい。ってことはいつも水をあげなくちゃいけないんですか？”

"No, There are so many spiecies of moss, and some of them even if they look dried up and dead, if you give water they come green again. but you are from Japan so you must have lots of kinds back in your country"
”いや、こけには色んな種があって、その中には乾燥しちゃって死んでるように見えるけど、もう一回水をあげるとまた緑に戻るようなものもあるんです。あなた日本からきたんなら日本はこけが豊富でしょう？”

"Yes, that's true, but I didn't pay attention to moss when i was in Japan. But once i saw a kind of Moss Grafitti in Copenhagen. the wall was covered by moss but some part were without moss that says some words. that was very inspiring. is it possible? is there any kind of materials that moss doesn't like? like Acid?"
”そうですよね、でも日本にいるときはこけになんか注意を払わなかったですね。でも一度コペンハーゲンでこけを使ったグラフィティーみたいなのを見た事があります。それは壁がこけで覆われているんだけど部分的にこけがきれいに無くてそれが文字になってるんです。あれはすごく刺激的だったなー。こけが嫌いなもの、例えば酸とかを使ってそんな事って出来るんですかね？”

"No, Moss actually likes Acid and moisture. but as i said there are so many spiecies. so you can't say exactly. By the way did you go to Tilburg? I think they have the most interesting Contemporary art Museum at the moment in Tilburg."
”うーん、分からないけどこけは酸は好きなんですよ。あと湿気。でも本当にこけには沢山の種があるから一概には何とも言えないですねー。ところでティルブルクに行った事ありますか？あそこにある現代美術館は今一番面白い美術館だと思うなー”

"Oh! i didn't know. but i might go to Tilburg soon for textile museum so then i can go"
”あ！そうなんですか。知らなかった。でもティルブルクには生地美術館に近々行くかもしれないのでそしたらいけるなー”

"Ah! the museum is next to Textile museum in Tilburg. You should go there. it's very nice"
”あーその現代美術館はその生地美術館のすぐ隣ですよ。だったら絶対行った方がいいと思うなー”

"And there is another museum i want to go is museum in Leiden for the Japanese art"
”それともう一つ絶対行ってみたいのがライデンの日本に関する美術館なんです”

"Yes, there is one universtity in Leiden that exists since 1575. Japanese Course at Unversity of Leiden is very famous.
”そうですね、ライデンには１５７５年に始まった大学がありそこの日本学は有名です”

"Yes, I heard about it. It's because of the long relationship between Japan and The Neatherlands. There was DEJIMA(出島）in japan where Portgal and The Neatherlands were one of the few who could make business with Japan when Japan was totally closed for Foreign countries."
”そうなんです、それを聞いたんです。オランダとポルトガルは鎖国中に九州の出島で貿易を行うことができた数少ない国ですからね、江戸のものが沢山見れるって聞いたんです”

"Yes, i know. there are many plants named after Siebold who was one of the first person who went to japan."
”知ってますよ。植物にはその日本に行った数少ない西洋人の一人シーボルトの名前をとった物が沢山あります”
