'Chiune Sugihara (杉原 千畝 Sugihara Chiune?, 1 January 1900 - 31 July 1986) was a Japanese diplomat who served as Vice-Consul for the Empire of Japan in Lithuania. During World War II, he helped several thousand Jews leave the country by issuing transit visas to Jewish refugees so that they could travel to Japan.'
杉原 千畝と言う人物に関して僕は何も知らなかった。リトアニアの原発の是非を問う国民投票に関する東京新聞社説に出て来た名前を検索してはじめて知った。涙を流さずに見れなかった。これはヒストリーチャンネルの全部で1時間半番組。英語だけどwikipediaでこの人のストーリーを読んでから番組を見ると語学勉強になるしいいと思う。本当に僕は何も知らない。日露戦争はユダヤ系アメリカ人のお金をバックに行われた事も初めて知った。こんな人達の上に乗って生きさせてもらってるんだな。
