Kind Naho in Tokyo sent me books that i have been asking for. One of them were BASARA, a catalog of an exhibition that took place at SPIRAL building in Aoyama last month. The exhibition as well as catalog was curated by a contemporary artist Tenmyouya Hisashi who i really admire. I have only read very first part of it, but i knew that this is the book I have been waiting for. It features very wide range of Japanese art and craft works from BC5000 till now. It focuses on very decorative and splendor art which were not historically perceived well as much as other typical Japanese art forms such as Zen, wabi, and sabi. Most of this art have been containing the spirit of rebellion against existing hierarchy, and the curator describes it as BASARA. The introduction part of the book says it is a declaration of war against japan's existing rigid views of culture, tradition and hierarchy. I was totally blown away by the introduction already. I am very encouraged by the book as well. I am super happy.
東京のなほちゃんが頼んでいた本を送ってきてくれた。その中の一冊はこの前青山のスパイラルで行われたBASARAと言う展覧会のカタログだった。この展覧会とカタログはコンテンポラリーアーティストの天明屋尚がキュレーションした物だ。僕は彼の作品が大好きだ。まだ最初の数ページしか読んでいないけれどもこれぞ待ち望んでいた本だ。紀元前5000年から現在までを禅や侘び寂び文化ほど日本の伝統文化として評価されてこなかった芸術や精神を婆娑羅と名付けてこの本は成り立っている。本のイントロダクション（宣戦布告）で天明屋尚はこう書いている。「婆娑羅を通じて硬直した日本の文化観、伝統観、ヒエラルキーに対して下克上を突きつける」。この最初の文章を読んでもうすでに僕はぶっ飛ばされた。同時にすごく励まされた。最高に嬉しい。

Kanding Ray who created this timeless piece 4!!! years ago, is relasing his 3rd album this year. "First time ever" played new tracks at Temporäre Kunsthalle Berlin last night was VERY promising. Super cool.
この音楽を4年も前に作ったKanding Rayは年内には新しい三枚目となるアルバムをリリースする。昨晩はTemporäre Kunsthalle Berlinでその新しい音を聞いたけど素晴らしかった。最高。

These days it happens so often to me that when i am looking for something about one musician or producer, start to look into it, and then i end up finding this musician or producer made a remix for The XX. Amazing. And The XX is still the album i listen to. All cool.
近頃なんだかすごく多いのが、一人のミュージシャンなりプロデューサーなりを探していて、発見後色々と見て行くとそのミュージシャンなりプロデューサーはThe XXのリミックスを出しているって言う事。三回続いた。The XXはまだまだ聞いてる。全部かっこいい。

Going to see "Körper" by Sascha Waltz at Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz was the surprise birthday present from Kai last Friday. I really enjoyed the moments when there is a time gap between what I try to understand in my brain and what I am watching on the stage. My brain needed some time to understand what i am watching. I loved this gap and twist they make by their amazing physical motions and synchronicity in balance. I loved the moments of totally organized confusion and chaos. I loved it. Thank you Kai for the experience for my 43rd birthday!

Sascha Waltzの"Körper 身体"と言うコンテンポラリーダンスの作品を一緒に見に行くのがKaiがくれた誕生日プレゼントだった。目で今見ているステージ上の出来事を脳が理解しようとする時にタイムラグが生まれるときが最高に面白かった。目で見てから脳みそがそれをその通りに認識して理解するまでにかかる時間。不可能に見える身体の動きだから生まれる脳みそで起きるこの時間差！と大きなねじれ！が最高の体験だった。まさにオーガナイズドコンフュージョン。 Arigato Kai. 最高の43歳を迎えられました。

Last night, i brought my camera to CFA but forgot the battery in charger at home. It was great opening of Thomas and fun night with Victor ash from Copenhagen and Neil from London who was on the endless flow of serving alcohol at Paris bar. so this morning all vegetable. No, Japanese breakfast can be all vegetable.
昨晩のCFAでのオープニングにカメラを持って行ったのだけど電池は家の充電器に差しっぱなしだった。トーマスの素晴らしいオープニングでコペンハーゲンからアッシュとロンドンからニールが一緒だった。Paris bar(初めて行った)でのアルコールは継続的だった。だから今朝は全て野菜。っていうか日本の食事って全部野菜も普通なのがすごい。

I think this whole cleaning up action wakes me up to be a COLLECTOR. I never thought i have these three nice sugar packages from my travel. But i am pretty sure that next place i go, i start to collect sugar.
部屋の掃除で初めて砂糖の袋が、しかもナイスなやつが３つもあるのに気づいた。掃除はコレクターの道へ導く。砂糖を集めるなんてこたー今まで一度も考えた事ないけど、次ぎに行く場所でせっせと集めている自分を想像する。集めるんだろうなー。

I am wondering if a track name "Little People" is coming from Haruki Murakami's latest novel 1Q84. In the book, Little people is something very mysterious that represents something invisible and evil from the other side. The book is planned to be translated into German in October 2010, and in English in September 2011. Ha! It is already translated into Dutch!!! Anyway, it is about this beautiful album i was talking. Again, really nice music from Ghostly International. Matthew Dear I love it.
このアルバムの一曲に「リトルピープル」ってあるんだけど、これは1Q84と関係があるのかって思う。本の中でリトルピープルは目に言えない向こうの世界の悪を象徴するような存在。1Q84はドイツ語版が10月に発売され、来年の9月に英語版が発売されるらしい。あ、オランダ語版はもう既に発売されている！にしてもこのアルバムに関して話してた。またまた美しい音楽はGhostly Internationalから。Matthew Dear。最高。

Cleaning gives me so much satisfaction at the moment. I think it will continue some more days, or weeks? anyway, the down part of it is to find my own stupidity. Here is some examples.
掃除と整理はいまひじょーに快感を僕に与え続けてくれている。あと数日、もしくは数週間まだ続くんだと思う。でも冷めるのは整理によって自分の愚かさに気づく事。例えば。

I have so many unused lamp balls and electric cables that were never used before. How stupid!? But now, everything is under control. I know how many Swedish snow camouflage nets i have in the basement. Hihihi. Some more goodies are coming.
電球も電気のケーブルも一度も使われた形跡のない物がどれだけあるか！あほだ！でももう全て掌握済み。今となってはスウェーデン軍の雪カモフラージュネットが地下室に何枚あるのか把握してる。ほほほ。まだまだ続く。
