BRIGHT fair is a street wear trade fair specialized in skate board related products. It had been held in Frankfurt am main. And now they move to Berlin at this coming fashion week in early July (8-10) 2010. Gordon from Asics Deutschland asked me to come along to see the location and find solutions for ASICS sports style booth. And the location is "Stasi Headquarters Haus18" in Lichtenberg. Stasi was the official state security service of East Germany known as one of the most effective and repressive intelligence and secret police agencies in the world. The location sounds totally special, offer from Gordon sounds very nice, that's my favorite time....in other words.....WOW...

BRIGHTフェアはストリートウェア、特にスケートボード関連のトレードフェアだ。今まではずっとフランクフルトで行われていたけれど、次回からベルリンのファッションウィーク開催中にベルリンで開催されることになった。アシックスドイツのゴードンがそのロケーションへ一緒に行き、アシックススポーツスタイルのブースを作る為のアイデア出しをお願いと誘われた。そのロケーションって言うのは旧東時代のシュタージ（東ドイツの秘密警察・諜報機関-世界で最も弾圧的、効果的な秘密警察とされていた）元本部ビルだ。場所は超スペシャルだし、ゴードンからのお誘いもナイスだし、、、大好きな瞬間。。。と言うかWOW。

amazing engraving on linoleum floor was made by an artist after the wall came down. I heard it took a year but I couldn't see the name.
素晴らしいリノリウムのフロアに施された彫刻は壁が崩れてから誰かアーティストが１年かけて作った作品。そのアーティスト名は探せなかった。

The film, "Das Leben der Anderen" or "The Lives of Others" or "善き人のためのソナタ", is such a impressive movie that shows how it was to live in the heavily monitored society, not only from views from a person being monitored, but also a person who was monitoring. Strongly recommended if you didn't see it yet.
「善き人のためのソナタ」って言う映画は旧東時代の社会全体がスパイのような国で生きなければいけないと言う事がどんな物だったかっていうのを素晴らしく深く描き出している映画だ。しかも監視される側からだけじゃなく、監視する側からの視点も含めて。まだ見てない場合は強烈にお薦め。

Is it only me? who thinks Hauptmann Gerd Wiesler's jacket he is wearing in the film is as cool as UNDERCOVER "DIETER RAMS" collection? Really nice.
ヴィースラー大尉が着ている上着ってアンダーカバーの"DIETER RAMS"のコレクションと同じくらいにかっこいいと思っているのは僕だけか？
