It's amazing when you look back how far and how much time passed since my first backpack travel to Thai to buy a fake id card in order to start my world-travel which ended up settling down in Berlin-Mitte. while in Bangkok, i had lots of amazing stories and shocks including an encounter with Indian fortune tellers and all that, I had a chance to go to dinner with an artist Rirkrit Tiravanija. it was not to visit his famous cooking art exhibition, but it was rather personal going together to a street sea food restaurant with some other friends. i didn't know him and i can totally imagine he doesn't remember me, but i have been watching him since then. and now he is all over in the internet about his Absolute Art Award. 世界旅行を目指してまずはタイへ偽学生証を作りに行った時からの事を振り返ると時間も随分とたったし、予想してなかった人生になってるし、驚く事がたくさんだ。結局旅を止めてベルリンのミッテに落ち着くことになったんだけど、その最初のバンコク滞在中はインド人占い師との出会い！とか沢山の信じられない体験や驚きがあった。で、このアーティストRirkrit Tiravanijaとご飯を食べに行った事もそのうちの一つだった。別に彼の有名な料理作品の展示を見に行ったからじゃなくて、もっとパーソナルに、一緒に路上海鮮料理屋でご飯を食べた。全く彼のことは知らなかったし彼は今僕の事を覚えているなんて全く思ってないけど、とにかくそれ以来彼の近況をちょこちょこ見たり展示に行ったりする。そして今彼はAbsolute Art Awardで表彰されてインターネットですごく頻繁に見る。おめでとうございます。ベルリンよりお祝い申し上げます。
