2000 Left Japan for a backpack travel in 2000.
2000 Started to live in Berlin.
2002 2002 Conceived, organised and promoted Koi Klub event in Berlin which went on to take place internationally at venues: Club 11, Amsterdam (2006) and Trump Room Tokyo (2006).
2003 Started to work with Asics and Onitsuka Tiger releasing several exclusive sneakers.
2008 Attended Design Week DMY in Berlin in 2008 and “Berlin im licht” exhibition at MÄRKISCHES MUSEUM in 2008.
2009 Opened a temporary shop “Kiosk by Koi Klub” in Berlin
2010 Opened temporary shop “Spätkauf by Koi Klub” in Berlin.
Koi Klub was featured in magazines such as THEME (US), ICON (UK), DAZED AND CONFUSED (UK), CODE (NL), TOKION (JP), S2WTD (DE) and DESIGNBOOM:COM.

I think my first compilation album i have ever bought was 'Classic Jazz-Funk Mastercuts Volume 1' in 91 or 92 at WAVE store in Roppongi or in Shibuya. I even didn't know the word 'Compilation' before that album but I got quickly into it because it was so useful to learn about specific type of music and also it gave me a easy solution to have a kind of DJ mix feeling at home or in a car. Rare Grooves, Sal Soul, Disco classics, Blue Break Beats, all were so fresh to me so i kept following those. Then I stopped for a while. I don't know why. Maybe I felt I already learned everything. ahaha stoopiod.
But then again i am so excited about many interesting compilation albums these months! Thanks to record labels like Honest Johns Records and Soundway Records!!! There are so many to dig into!!! And the album sleeves are always really well made and interesting to read. So nice.
This TURKISH FREAKOUT is also a nice album compiling really exciting Turkish music from 60's and 70's. How unique! How special! wow! I have been humming all the time! I want to go to Turkish Karaoke bar if there is any in X-Berg!!! I LOVE IT. wow!
確か初めて買ったコンピレーションアルバムって言うのは91年か92年に六本木か渋谷のWAVEで買った'Classic Jazz-Funk Mastercuts Volume 1'だと思う。それ以前はコンピレーションなんて言葉さえ知らなかった。誰かがプリセレクとしてコンピとして売られているアルバムは一つのジャンルを知るには便利だったし、DJミックスな気分をお手軽に家や車で味わえるのでレアグルーブ、サルソウル、ブルーブレークビーツ、全部新鮮で結構はまって色々と試したと思う。でもある時からぱったり買わなくなった。なんでか分からないけど。もう全部知った気にでもなってたのかもしれない。あはは。
でもまたコンピレーションを沢山試して興奮するときがやってきた！嬉しい！Honest Johns RecordsやSoundway Recordsのお陰で今まであったらいいなーでも自分で探すのは無理だなーっていうアフリカや東南アジアやカリブの音楽を聞く事がすごく簡単になった。そんなコンピレーションアルバムには必ず分厚いスリーブが付いていてそこに書かれている文章はすごく興味深く刺激的なのも更に嬉しい。
60年代70年代のトルコ音楽を集めたこのアルバムTURKISH FREAKOUTもそんな内の一つ。なんて個性！なんて特別！トルコカラオケなんて物がクロイツベルクに存在するならそのバーに絶対行きたい！毎日口ずさむ！本当に最高。これはすごい。
