In Sapa mountain area in northern Vietnam, we learned how to make fabric from hemp. It was very interesting because i didn't know anything about it. Such a simple and essential things are so away from my life is quite amazing.
There were many hemp field in mountain that was very identifiable from a distance because they have very unique green color. Hemp field was almost like shining which i assume it comes from the fact that hemp contains oil. it was quite amazing view.
Women in mountain were always tearing hemp fibers by hands while walking or talking or whenever. We saw many women who were working by hands like this photo. tear them again and again and again.

Use only stems to make thread. It was woman's job to tear them into fibers and twine them together and tear them into thinner fiber and twine them again and tear them again and twine them again and again and again.

And this is something you have to see. Biotechnology to grow your fabric is as sustainable as planting your own hemp but much easier and more realistic. I see our future very exciting.
Got it! Thkans a lot again for helping me out!
