Dear Friends,

We are pleased to invite you to the May edition of Koi Klub. This month, Koi Klub takes the form of a kind of festival of contemporary Japanese culture, including a music and video showcase from the excellent Fukuoka-based record label Oilworks, (Himuro Yoshiteru, Olive Oil, and Popy Oil), live performances by ▽ Inao, Fujimoto and Nishimoto, and DJ sets from Akira and Masako Tsujii. There will also be photography by Michael Kuchinke Hofer, an installation by Zen Yoshimoto and, of course, delicious Japanese food by Okawari.

Koi Klub happens in Berlin on the 11th of each month, regardless of the day of the week or the weather, and since the 11th of May falls on a Friday in the very blush of spring we are feeling all the more flushed and festive. We think it'll be super nice, and so we hope to see you there - at our new location in the gorgeous Krach Studio at Moritzplatz - for a dance, a drink, and a good conversation.
