When I found this amazing concept model of Samsung Mobile phone, I found a news about Sony to end their TV production in Europe.

While I was looking for the article about Sony Barcelona plant, I found a Japanese web sight called, fukeiki.com meaning recession.com or depression.com. Only economically bad news available. ahaha (BTW, I love the logo)
Sonyのそのバルセロナ工場の記事を探していたら不景気.comと言う日本のサイトを見つけた。

WTF?! while I was thinking what's the purpose of this news sight, i remembered the Japanese music track called "Choshi warukute atari mae = "it's so usual to be not well" They are constantly saying "It's so usual to be not well!" but they look full of positive energy is still super cool to me.
なんだこれ？なんの目的でこんなサイトが存在するんだろう、存在しなくちゃいけないんだろうと考えていたら（しかしロゴは最高）、そうだ昔「調子悪くて当たり前」って曲があった事を思い出した。調子悪くて当たり前なメンタリティーは今の自分とかなーり遠い。が音楽は今でもっすっばらしいと思う。

I think this "It's so usual to be not well" represents one aspect of Japanese masochistic character. I ask myself why? One of the reason I could come up with was the fact that Japan is a big earth quake country which once in a while seriously shock the whole nation.

Svenja and me went to morocco for three weeks or so about three years ago. We traveled from Marrakesh to Ouarzazat to Fez to Casablanca and returned to Marrakesh to go back to Europe. We traveled by Big bus to small bus to Land Rover to train to Camel riding! to walking and trekking. This guy who is wearing my sunglasses were a grandfather of a family in the middle of nowhere in the desert where we arrived by camel with our trekking guide. We stayed at this home for a while just to take a rest. It was just all dry and hot there. It was completely opposite from where i was born where humidity even influences people's mentality. And then I saw a European woman, actually more like a girl who was early 20's, who was working alone in the desert. She was pulling a bucket of water from a well. I asked the man "what is she doing? who is she? why she is here? " Then I learned France and Morocco has kind of an agreement that you can choose either you go to a jail in France or go to Morocco for a Volunteer. WOW.

Then I start to imagine free. Recently there are many scandals in Sumo association in Japan and struggling to maintain their popularity and respect. There are also many Sumo wrestlers from foreign countries nowadays such as Mongolia, Georgia, Estonia, Bulgaria among others. I wonder why they don't send those Sumo wrestlers who committed this or this or this to Mongolia or other countries and let them work as Sumo trainers in those countries. If I were one of them, I would definitely go to Mongolia and try my best to become a welcome back hero Sumo wrestler. Ahaha. Out of box thinking is very rare in Japan nowadays. Why?

スベンニャと僕は三年前くらいに三週間くらいモロッコを旅した。マラケシから大きな乗り合いバスに乗ってワルザザトに行って、そこからちっちゃい乗り合いバスに乗って、次の街で砂漠をランドローバーで走って、ラクダに乗り換えて砂漠を渡って、山を歩いてトレッキングして、フェズからカサブランカまで電車に乗って、また国内線に乗ってヨーロッパに戻る為にマラケシに戻ってくるまで。ぐるっと三週間。僕のサングラスをかけているこの写真のおじいさんは少し休ませてもらうつもりで僕らのガイドが連れてってくれた周りになーんも無い砂漠のなかにぽつんと建っている家のおじいさんだった。めちゃくちゃ日差しが強くて完璧な乾燥地帯だった。湿度の高い日本と完全に逆の世界。ぐるっと見回すと20歳位の一見ヨーロッパ人の女の子が井戸から水を汲んでいた。なんだ？おじいさん、あの女性はなんでここにいるの？彼女は何してるの？彼女は誰なの？それで知ったのはフランスとモロッコは何らかの協定を結んでいて、フランスで（多分）若年層が犯罪を犯した場合、牢屋に入るかボランティアとしてモロッコで働くか選択できるらしい。ぶっ飛んだ。

それで色々と夢想する。マーケティング系の人と話すとよく出てくる言葉にout of boxって言い回しがある。要は既成概念(Box)から飛び出して(out)物事を考えるって言う意味だけど、このフランスとモロッコの話、詳しくは分からないけど日本人の僕にしてみるとまさに前例を飛び出た考え方だと思った。で、前例をひっくり返す位の想像力とそれに伴う行動が無いと物事が望んだ方向に進まない事が沢山あるのが今の世界。ここから先の話は日本の友達と長電話した時に盛り上がった話だけど、スキャンダルで大変な相撲界にこの方法取り入れたら素晴らしいだろうな。犯罪を犯した相撲取り（でも芸能人でも一般人でもなんでも）をウランバートル（でもカンボジアでもラオスでもどこでも）に送って相撲部屋（でも地雷撤去でも塾でも工場でもなんでも）を立ち上げさせて、部屋がある程度成り立った時点でモンゴル部屋日本デビュー。牢屋に入るかモンゴル部屋立ち上げの一助となるかどっちか選べって言ったら間違いなく部屋立ち上げの方を選択するって人多いんじゃないかな？あはは結局モンゴル部屋の話になった。しかし既成概念から出るのは度胸がいる。

Gentleman Mr C hooked us up with his friend in New York who was looking for a place to stay in Berlin during the time when we want to be in New York. So the apartment swap deal was made. Apartment swap is such a nice system that i also did one summer with a guy in Amsterdam. No money involved. Based on a trust. How cool.
紳士Mr Cの取り計らいでニューヨークはアパート交換する事ができるようになった。ベルリンに短期で滞在したいMr Cの知り合いニューヨーカーに僕らのアパートを貸してあげて、ニューヨークに行きたい僕らはそのニューヨーカーのアパートに滞在する。一度アムステルダムの人と一夏このアパートメントスワップをした事がある。金銭のやり取り無し。信用のみ。なんて素晴らしいシステム。アパートメントスワップ。

I really don't know any other big cities that has a CAMPING sight several hundreds meters away from its main station.
中央駅の数百メーター離れた所にキャンプ場がある首都なんて僕は全然知らない。

I just calculated how much the running cost would be to own a car. I realized that cost will never be less than my monthly taxi cost. Plus you can't be so easy going around like this by bicycle.
自動車を持ったら毎月いくらになるかを計算してみた。僕の毎月のタクシー代は絶対にそのコストを超えることはない。それに自転車じゃないとここまで無造作にぐるっと回れない。

Concert of POLE on Saturday was AMAZING. I really had a great musical experience. We had drinks at the fire in a courtyard before his play. Some people were playing guitar very spontaneously. WTF!? This is just like a bar in Ko Lanta or Ko phi phi in Thailand!?! That's what i was saying to Barbara.
土曜日のPOLEのコンサートは最高だった。素晴らしい音楽体験だった。彼のギグが始まる前に中庭に出て火の周りで飲んだ。誰かが適当にギターを弾いてた。なんだこれ？！タイのランタかピーピー島か？ってずっとバーバラに言ってた。

There were only 20 people at Kino International for 'Inception' original version on Friday night. I mean Kino international where thousands of people visit during Berlin Film Festival. I mean on Friday night!
金曜日の夜にInceptionをKino Internationalに見に行った。ベルリン映画祭の時期は数千人が訪れるあのKino Internationalだ。しかも金曜日だ。でも20人しか観客がいなかった。Kino Internationalは最高にセクシーで気分のいい映画館だ。

Berlin is a capital city of Germany that has enough space and mind for sharing space for camping next to its main station. Where people can order breakfast at cafe or restaurant till 16:00. Where you can watch block buster film in a historical sexy cinema with no stress. It's still amazing to me. But why?
ベルリンは中央駅の隣にキャンプ場に割く土地と気持ちの余裕があって、朝食を夕方4時まで注文できて、歴史建造物の中でブロックバスターなフィルムを全くのイライラ無しに余裕で見ることができるドイツの首都だ。今でも全然驚きだ。でもなんでだ？

I didn't see POLE live for a loooong time. I have to go.
POLEのライブを相当長く見ていない。これは行かないと。
