それでこれが032cのファーストイシュー。アパートメントストアがまだNeue Schönhauser Straßeにあった頃に買った。一貫性。
This is one of my all time favorite album CODONA, created by Collin Walcott, Don Cherry and Nana Vasconcelos released by famous ECM in Munchen in 1979. And this was one of my favorite hairdresser in Shimokitazawa Tokyo also named CODONA. It was always comfortably loud when you are there because you are totally surrounded by many and big speakers although the room is relatively small. And Reality Studio's new collection is called as well CODONA. Yes. The album CODONA must come from musian's initials CO-DO-NA but it also could be a combination of two Japanese words which are 1 CODOMO (a child) and 2 OTONA (an adult). So to me CODONA means this beautiful album "CODONA" and a hairdresser in Tokyo "CODONA" and Reality Studio's new collection CODONA "Adult-child" or "Child-adult". How nice. isnt' it?
僕のオールタイムフェイバリットアルバムはCollin Walcott, Don CherryそれにNana Vasconcelosで作られた「CODONA」って言うアルバム。は1979年に有名なミュンヘンのECMからリリースされた。そして僕がよく通ってた下北沢の美容院も「CODONA」って言う名前だった。部屋は小さいけれども大きなスピーカーに囲まれていつもとても居心地がよく大音量だった。そしてReality Studioの新しいコレクションのタイトルも「CODONA」。そうなのです。このドンチェリーらのアルバムは彼らミュージシャンの頭文字CO-DO-NAから来ていると思うけど、「おとな」と「こども」を混ぜた造語としての「CODONA」。だから僕にとって「CODONA」はアルバムの名前、下北の美容院の名前、それから次回のReality Studioのコレクションの名前でもある。How nice。でしょ？
I really didn't know how hard to keep fashion brand running till i met Svenja. not only because of the market, but also you have to be able to manage everything by yourself! material sourcing, r&d, production control, quality control, pr, logistics, and sales on top of design creation! ah and of course you have to make sure your money is safe so you have to be legal and financial person as well. And most amazing thing is that you have to create next new collection while you are producing the last collection. It's a full time one man show. phew. you really have to like it otherwise it is a nightmare. and i know svenja loves it. she loves fashion and create fashion. next collection will be her 13th collection. i am very proud of her. yes. and this is her working room. our daily working time is totally different. she is really a morning type and i am totally a night type. i don't know what is happening in this room during day time...i really like this photo taken by our friend Mary Scherpe. スベンニャに会うまでファッションレーベルを継続させるってことがどれだけ大変かって事を知らなかった。景気が悪くて大変とかそう言うのではなくて、ただデザイナーであるってことは会社の基本的な機能が自分の中に全て備わって行けなくて行けなくて、それは購買部から、研究開発から製造、品質管理、それに広報、物流、で、大事な販売が来てそれにやっときらびやかなデザイン過程が加わる。あ、それにお金を確保しなくちゃいけないから法務に経理の才能も無いといけない。そして最も驚く事は次の新しいコレクションを前回のコレクションを工場で今製造しながら作らないといけない。フルタイムのワンマンショウだ。これは好きでやってるわけじゃないとまさに悪夢だ。スベンニャはファッションが大好きだし、それをクリエイトするのが大好きだ。次のコレクションは彼女にとって13コレクション目になる。誇らしく思う。そしてこの写真が彼女の仕事部屋。スベンニャは完璧に朝方で僕は非常に夜型なので日中この部屋でどんな事が行われているのか僕は知らない。友達のマリーシェルペが撮ったこの写真すごく良い。ナイス。Still in Berlinで見れる。
