With Aram Dikiciyan in Ebisu area

Aram is a photographer that i know since his life in Berlin. He moved to Tokyo quite a while ago, and every time i meet him, i am totally impressed by the improvement of his Japanese language ability. He sometime acts more Japanese than me, knows, for sure, more special places than me. This night, he took us to, what i call, High-end-Izakaya-Japanese-bar where you have to enter the Code number at the dark entrance to enter the building, ring the bell to tell who you are, take a elevater, and then there you are, totally unexpected lively bar. Sakura tree everywhere made us feel like drinking under the tree.
アラムは彼のベルリン生活の時代から知っているフォトグラファー。随分前から東京に移り住んだ。毎回会うたびに日本語が上達しているのに本当に驚かされる。僕よりも日本人風になっているし、スペシャルな場所も勿論僕よりも多く知っている。この夜アラムが僕らを連れて行ってくれた所もそんな所。マンション風な建物の入り口で暗証番号を入れて扉が開いてからベルを鳴らして自分の名前を告げると建物内に入れる。エレベーターで昇って行くと全く予想してなかったようなハイエンドな居酒屋さん。桜の木の下で飲んでるかのような。

So, we bought this strawberry in a clear package costs 3 euro. It would have been so funny and convincing if the taste was something totally different like banana. But the results was just normal strawberry.
それで結局例の個包装いちごを３８０円払って買ってきてアラムの家で食べた。これで実はバナナ味とかだったらこの特別包装も高価格も納得したんだろうが、食べたら単なるイチゴだった。ま、そりゃそーか。
