I want to eat HOT Szechuan cuisine and treat ourselves with HK style Dim-sum branch after long night out. Korean BBQ is a must and visiting Sobaya at lunch time must be lovely. I want to be messy with authentic hamburger and impressed by the taste of T born steak. I want to be sophisticated at small organic type of restaurant and surprised by the size of Jack Daniels-cola. I want to order Strawberry Margarita in a large pitcher at a Mexican restaurant and want to be totally demotivated to go out after having a huge breakfast with 500ml of "damn fine" American coffee.
Besides food, I want to visit The Hole, I want to see Miranda July, I want to visit opening ceremony and 7 and OHWOW. I want to buy 501 that must be as cheap as 20 dollars, I want to find some interesting design-y objects at museum shops. I want to be so exhausted to get a cab or to get a stupid donuts. I want to be surrounded by many big shopping bags with many tiny leashed puppies. But most of all, I want to sit and watch people passing by on streets and say 'wow this is really like a movie!' That's my expectation this week in NY.
辛ーい四川料理を食べたいし、香港な飲茶を二日酔いの後に試したい。韓国料理屋で焼肉を満喫したいし、全く日本なSOBAYAでお昼をしたい。ハンバーガーでべとべとになりたいし、Tボーンステーキの味に驚きたい。ちっちゃくて自然食でアルファルファなレストランで洗練されたいし、メキシカンでマルガリータをピッチャーで頼みたい。ジャックダニエルをコーラで割ってそのサイズに驚きたいし、巨大な朝食をうすーくて'damn fine'なコーヒーで食べた後もう出かける気力が無いよーと言ってみたい。
食事以外ではThe Holeは行ってみたいし, Miranda Julyを見たい。opening ceremonyで買物したいし7がどんな所なのか見てみたいしOHWOWも同じく覗いてみたい。501を20ドルとかで買えるか試したいし、タクシー拾うのやドーナッツ買うのでへとへとになってみたい。でっかいショッピングバッグを沢山持ってちっちゃい子犬を沢山連れた人たちにも囲まれてみたい。そんな風に期待が膨らむけど何よりもカフェで座って人が忙しく行き交う様をじっくり見てえーなにこれー映画みたいじゃんな刺激を毎日受けたい。明日から一週間NYでの僕の期待。
