Information control

Japanese TV and Newspapers are heavily sponsored by Tepco. Japanese universities and Research institutes are also sponsored by Tepco. Japanese TV only invite professors who are 'Atomic power supporters'. They are like retainers or servants. The only media I can believe is internet. There are many active Freelance Journalists who I have never heard their names before reports directly. But somehow majority of Japanese are following the traditional media. One of the most scary news is information control. Japanese government officially announced to control information over rumors such as "Group of thieves coming into our town" in the area where Tsunami hit. But we are very skeptic on this issue after 3 men were arrested by the reason "walking too slow" at a small Anti Atomic Power demonstration in front of Tepco company.

This 2:30 minutes video shows one of the most active freelance journalist at the moment Takashi Uesugi. And also a small demonstration in front of Tepco head quater which has never been shown in any of Japanese media. None of anti atomic demonstration were shown in media even if the organizer was a teenager. I am even sure there are many Japanese who realized there are actually Anti atomic demonstration activities happening in Japan on my blog page. That's the reality now. It's a long way to go. Where do I think we should go? Lower life standard, stop atomic plants while creating clean energy. Just like Mr Son says.
